Amel's physical appearance, like his character, went through a few amalgamations and transformations over years of incubation.

One contributing photograph, from an unknown 1950s catalog (probably advertising headache pills) survived into Lynda's adulthood in a box of precious girlhood artifacts.

The picture was pasted to cardboard that produced wrinkles, at least a decade stale, and was scratched.

Lynda asked friend and web designer Brandy Bernard to see what she could do.
