REL
Rel
is the potent side of the Gelack Rel-Pol dichotomy, which has as
many interpretations as 'Ying and Yan' in oriental philosophy. Rel implies:
proactive, dominant, strong-minded and pol implies: reactive, submissive
or wishy washy. Rel derives from the English "Reality Skimming",
trailing connotations of "real" rather than "ideal"
and having the "right stuff" to pilot successfully. The rel
symbol, shown on the right, resembles a slanted and elongated S with
barbs at either crest.
